The Access SIG of the CNYPCUG

This page contains a summary of items discussed at a SIG (Special Interest Group) of the Central New York PC User Group (CNYPCUG)

The Access SIG has been meeting since late 1995. We meet every other month at 602 Factory Avenue in Syracuse, NY. We discuss topics in MS Access and Visual Basic. If you are in Central New York, call 315-446-3326 (Touch Tone Only) and select class schedule from the menu for the current month's class schedule. The SIG meetings are free and open to the public selected Saturdays from 10AM to 12PM. Click here for On-Line Schedule information.

Microsoft Access is a Database application builder that comes with the Professional and higher versions of Microsoft Office. A database application is something like the 'Big Brother' of a spreadsheet. That is, as your spreadsheet application grows and becomes more complicated, your application has become a candidate for conversion to a database.

CALL FOR PROJECTS

At the MS Access SIG we encourage people to bring a project that they are trying to build. During the SIG meeting we will try to completely build smaller projects or partially build the complex parts of  bigger projects. If you have a project, we would appreciate the chance to help you build it. Click here to eMail project information

If you need profession assistance for building an application, click here to send information for a quote.

A list of topics from our recent meetings is on our downloads page.
