Welcome to the home page for the Canastota Fire Department. Canastota, (the home of boxing) is located in the heart of New York State, 20 miles east of Syracuse and 20 miles west of Utica and Rome. Our department protects 35 1/2 square miles of area with a population of 10,000 people.
