Police investigating child’s death

We are continuing to follow the story of a child found dead in a home on Syracuse's south side. The young girl was found in a home on Fage Street. Our Joleene Des Rosiers spoke with both police and neighbors joins us with the latest on the investigation.

Lake-effect snow slams Central New York

Lake-effect snow is slamming parts of Central New York. It started coming down mid afternoon in the Syracuse area, causing numerous accidents. Some places could see as much as three to eight inches by the morning.

DHL lays off 100 workers

More job loss in Central New York after approximately 100 employees at the DHL Express call center in East Syracuse were laid off. The employees were notified today that their jobs would be cut as of January 30th of next year.

Snow sentenced to 23 years in prison for toddler’s death

Aaden Olmstead, 3, died last March after a Madison County man slammed the child's head into a concrete floor. Friday, Jesse Snow, 24, apologized to Aaden's family. Our Katie Morse has more on his sentencing during an emotional day in court.

Walsh's career in Washington comes to an end

It took two decades, but James Walsh, a Republican congressman from Syracuse, rose from 435th in seniority into the top 100. Under a Republican majority, he was one of the so-called "cardinals," lawmakers with control over appropriation subcommittees who decide what is spent and where. First ethanol pump in Oswego County

Northeast Biofuels provided Fastrac in Fulton with ethanol for the county's first ethanol pump. They are trying to develop ethanol in the northeast and Friday's opening of the ethanol pump is a big step toward that goal.

Massa declares victory over Kuhl
