Recognition is earned in many ways. The achievment of Eagle Scout is very high on our list. Adult recognition takes on other forms. Nominations for the District Award of Merit, Boy Scouter of the Year, Cub Scouter of the Year, Spark Plug Awards are encouraged at Roundtable. Several awards are presented through the District and Council. The Silver Beaver Award recognizes significant service both within and outside Scouting, demonstrating a greater service to the community in general. The Charles D. Watt Advancement Award and the Lifetime Scoutmaster Award were introduced in 1998. These recognize Troops and Individuals that have given that little bit extra to make a successful Scouting program at the Troop level. Those receiving the awards are recognized at the Interlakes District Dinner, which occurs about the same time as the Spring Camp-O-Ree. Scouters Keys indicate extra efforts on Scouters to make a program at the unit level. Lastly, Interlakes has qualified for Quality District on (at least) four occasions. Fulfilling the requirements for Quality District is a major effort.

I will attempt to recognize those individuals on these pages. As data is complied, it will be added to the appropriate sub-page. Pages are listed below...
