This site was initially set up to provide basic information regarding events and training. URLs to other web sites are available in the "links to other web sites" section of this site. Those references were expanded to include links to the World Organization of the Scouting Movement, general international sites with Scouting information, the BSA National web site, Hiawatha Seaway Council sites, other Council web sites in New York State, additional informational Scouting sites, and road and weather condition sites.
Effective use of those sites will reveal a wealth of information you can use. I draw your attention the Scouting JumpStation, the MacScouter, the US Scouting Service Project, this site, and this site. I also recommend exploring other Council sites because those generally have the best links to information. The Greater New York City Council web site alone is loaded with information for the taking. I found rank requirement changes at the Land of the Oneidas Council web site.
Rather than restrict information to a few documents you might use, I suggest you surf the links provided and see what can be found. You will probably find additional "stuff" you never thought was available. The number of sites with clip art is one example. Give it a try. If any information is especially useful, additional specific links could be added to this page. Just eMail the pagemaster. If enough people request new links to add, I will gladly add them. The idea is for you to determine what you want.
