One thing you find when surfing the web is information on International Scouting events. The world jamboree is an example. There was another jamboree (moot) half way around the world. Three events are listed below with URL links for additional information. These events are mentioned with a disclaimer that you check them out, just as you are encouraged to check with Council to confirm any information on this page. The links provided for the three events below should give you a good start. Who knows, you might expand your Troop/Pack activities and do something with Scouts from Australia, New Zealand, England, Canada, or other countries.

JAMBOREE ON THE TRAIL (JOTT): This event started in 1998. You can check out this URL http://jott.org/ for additional information.

JAMBOREE ON THE AIR (JOTA): JOTA is scheduled for the third weekend every October. It is an international short wave weekend between Scouts and Scouters around the world. Check out this URL http://www.scout.org/jota/ for general information on the event.

JAMBOREE ON THE INTERNET (JOTI): JOTI is scheduled to coincide with JOTA. This event is an internet exchange using email, bulletin boards, web pages, chat rooms, and other media. JOTA is described at http://www.joti.org/.
