Politics as usual.
Why is it that
three simple words seem to explain away everything that our
elected officials get away with? When we elect
representatives we don't grant them permission to abide by a
different standard of conduct than the rest of us.
Rumor has it that this is the era
of bipartisanship and "working together" for the good of the
American people. Unfortunately, it appears the only issue
both parties can agree on is that the other party is guilty of one gross indiscretion or
another. Stone throwing has become the bipartisan sport of
choice in DC. There's more
investigating going on in Washington than legislating. So
much for the era of working together!
Politics as Usual and
more is
where I blow off steam about issues and controversies which
get under my skin. You can also expect to see things here
that aren't necessarily political but still annoy me or
catch my attention.
If you have any ideas for future
cartoons, please drop me a
line.
