Police investigating child’s death

Syracuse Police are investigating the suspicious death of a child on this city's south side. The call came in from the 100 block of Fage Avenue just before 3 p.m. Friday. That's where we find our Joleene Des Rosiers. She joins us now with the latest.

DHL lays off 100 workers

More job loss in Central New York after approximately 100 employees at the DHL Express call center in East Syracuse were laid off. The employees were notified today that their jobs would be cut as of January 30th of next year.

Walsh's career in Washington comes to an end

It took two decades, but James Walsh, a Republican congressman from Syracuse, rose from 435th in seniority into the top 100. Under a Republican majority, he was one of the so-called "cardinals," lawmakers with control over appropriation subcommittees who decide what is spent and where. Truckers threaten protest on Skaneateles
