WHAT THE FEDERATION DOES...
The National Wild Turkey Federation supports scientific wildlife management on public, private, and corporate lands. It also supports traditional American sport hunting and every citizens's right to enjoy clean air and water and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environment. The NWTF publishes Turkey Call magazine bimonthly (6 issues a year) and The Caller newsletter (4 issues a year). Both are mailed to every member. The contents include state-by-state information on wild turkey management; features articles on turkey calling and hunting; interviews; news from national headquarters, state chapters and the NWTF fund-raising banquet program; letters to the editor, and editorial statements on timely subjects.

Over 96,000 acres of wild turkey habitat improved through the Making Tracks cooperative program between the NWTF and the U.S. Forest Service in1994
Total NWTF Wild Turkey Super Fund expenditures exceed $50 million on over 3,500 projects since 1977
In 1973, there were an estimated 1.3 million wild turkeys and 1.5 million turkey hunters. Today, there are an estimated 4.2 million wild turkeys and approximately 2.5 million turkey hunters
NWTF Super Fund membership banquets will net $6.1 million for programs.
