How to Sponsor a Scouting Program
For nearly one hundred years, the Boy Scouts of America has provided a premier development program for American youth. The Scouting program epitomizes the cornerstones of American society--duty to God, country, community and self. Many of our country's most prominent citizens and civic and military leaders have had a strong Scouting background.
The Boy Scouts of America grants charters to community organizations, churches, and service clubs to operate Scouting programs. What a wonderful community outreach program! If your organization would like to become a chartering institution and sponsor a Scouting unit, contact our Membership Chairman for more information on how to get started. Information is also available on the National BSA website.
