Barking Dogs - barking dogs at campgrounds are nothing but a nuisance to other campers and have the potential of ruining other peoples camping experiences including the owner, when they get the boot. They shouldn't even be brought to campgrounds. If the owner knows that their dog barks uncontrollably when they're away from it or at strangers then it is their responsibility to make it stop or leave. There are different ways to get a dog to stop barking and one of them is to teach it not to bark when it is still young, or they can purchase a bark control collar ( which I'll post a link to a site that sells them). The collar will shock the dog when it bark, the amount of shock is controllable depending of the size of the dog and its pain tolerance. This may sound like a cruel method however it is a very humane way and after one or two shocks the dog will stop barking. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much this will lower your stress level not to mention your neighbors.

Loud Music - For all you music lovers out there that like playing your music loud, STOP. Most of the people around you don't want to listen to it. Unlike you they're mostly to polite to ask you to turn it down. even though I may like what you're playing it doesn't mean that I want to hear it at that moment. While camping and as with most others we are there to relax and enjoy ourselves and listening to your music makes that kind of tough at best. Most campgrounds have rules against casing disturbances in general however the staff can't be every where all the time so it's up to fellow campers to report offenders to the staff so that they can enforce the rules.

Flying - Flying in my neighborhood in some open lots at the end of the street has lent itself to me getting some great stick time. it also helps flying my electrics, if I didn't have them I wouldn't be able to enjoy my hobby nearly as much as I currently do. Plus belonging to a club centering on indoor electric flight has been a great help to me.

Clubs - I joined a club dedicated to flying indoor electric flight. There are a number of pilots there that also fly outdoors that include both electric and nitro planes plus a few free flight pilots. Maybe its just guys in general but when I first starting flying there a number of the pilots where distant I guess you could say. How ever after flying a number of times and getting to know them a bit I found that I have been able to learn a great deal about RC planes. So I guess the moral is don't give up to soon or you may miss out on a wealth of knowledge.

Privacy - there are a number of friendly people out there who like to talk, visit or chat, what ever you prefer to call it. Now if you are just meeting someone who is camping nearby let say and they appear to friendly enough, don't over stay your welcome if they don't offer for you to join them in what they're doing. This could be anything from sitting in a chair watching the world go by to enjoying a cold beverage. It could be that they are there just to enjoy the are by themselves with out a lot of interruptions and not trying to be rude of snooty.

Politeness - Why can't people in general be as polite as the majority of the people are while camping. Seems like most everyone tries to be mindful of others with the previously noted exceptions. if you have any thoughts on this please feel free to send them to me.
