![]() ![]() ![]() Ultimate Ultrafly Electric helicopter Yard stick Attend model airplane shows, anything from fly ins to display shows and pay attention to the way the planes are built you can learn lots from just observing how others build planes. Be sure to check your center of gravity (CG) Don't forget to charge those batteries and check flight controls and surfaces make sure your multi model radio is set for the model you are getting ready to fly. After working on or adjusting something on my nitro plane I like to taxi it around a bit, if there's something loose in it you will usually notice it now rather then in the air, such as a loose battery plug that I hadn't noticed and up till then everything work as it was suppose to. Try flying indoors, I fly in a local church gym. there are many facilities like these that can be used for flying. I recently switch one of my electric models from Ni metal batteries over to Lithium. between that and swapping my prop pitch the plane has gone from being my second to fly plane to my first to fly. It's performance is outstanding now and the flight time is at least twice as long if not three times as long between charging. Help support RC hobbies in general by joining a club. There are numerous clubs all around with members that are more than willing to help show how to do something.
There are numerous low cost RC Airplanes and helicopters out on the market now that are very durable. these are very good starter aircraft for the beginner RC pilot to learn on. they are also fun for the experience pilot as well just because they are so durable and just plain fun to fly.

Always take your RV for a test drive before going on your trip.
