Code of Conduct for Pom Club Members

Members of the RCS Pom Club are expected to set high standards for their school and to

set a good example for their fellow students.  To achieve this Pom Club Members will:

* Maintain a passing grade in all classes

*Attend all scheduled practices and games, unless prior permission to be absent has been granted by coach

*Maintain reasonable standards of appearance and conduct when engaging in activities representing the school.

*Cooperate with each other and follow the instructions of the Pom Club Coach

Any violations of these rules or conduct deemed improper and unsuitable for a Pom Club Member will result in one or more consequences, administered at the discretion of the Pom Club Coach or Athletic Director: verbal warning, written reprimand, temporary exclusion for a specific number of days, or exclusion from the Pom Club. 

Attendance Policy-

Members are required to attend all scheduled practices and games, unless prior permission to be absent or to be tardy has been given by the coach.  To grant permission, the students must call, email, or explain in person the reason for the absence or tartness before the practice or game. Students who were absent from school the day of practice or game are automatically excused.  

Members who fail to inform the coach of an absence of a practice or game will be in violation of the attendance policy and will result in a verbal warning.  Two violations will result in a written warning.  Three violations of the attendance policy will result in the student sitting out of a performance.   The fourth violation of this policy will result in the students being asked to leave the Pom Club program.
