Selkirk Boats Shine
in Summer Regattas

EYC regatta was held in Belleville Ontario at the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club this year on July 13, 14, 15. Three boats represented the SYC. Holey Moley won the white sail division, and Just Right and Syncopation battled in the Spinnaker 3 Division.

The Sail Oswego Regatta July 27-29 featured seven Selkirk boats in three divisions. Puffin and Just Right raced in division four, with Puffin wining all five races. Wiz Bucket placed third in the J-24 division. Valley Girl placed second in the white sail fleet, with Shebeen, Therapee Too, and Some Day.

JR. Riggs & Just Right Crew Win Henderson Hospice Race
On Aug. 5, five SYC boats raced the Jefferson County Hospice Regatta in Henderson Harbor. The Selkirk boats turned in a dominating performance. Just Right won the overall trophy and the right to represent Jefferson County Hospice at the National Hospice Regatta in Annapolis. Valley Girl won the Fun Race (the first time a SYC boat has accomplished this feat). Fifi finished second in division one, and Puffin won the second division. Some Day also raced in the fun Race
