In alliance with people all over the world who are praying for Peace on Earth, we have launched a weekly Peace Prayer Vigil. St. Mark’s will be open to the public for individual’s prayers on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM. There will be no formal service. Quiet music and candle light will be your guide. We are seeking two volunteers for each evening to light and extinguish candles and play the CD’s. Tape player and music will be available. If you would like to be a volunteer please contact the Vestry.
We are offering a French Toast Breakfast to the community on the third Sunday of each month. Serving will begin at 8:00 AM and continue until the morning service begins. (We are looking to changing that service time for those Sunday’s only, to 10:00 AM…stay tuned for further information.)
We continue to solicit items for military boxes. Lynn Craig is the angel in charge. She organizes and ships an average of 14 boxes several times a year. If you are aware of service persons that would enjoy some treats and treasures from home, please share with her the names and addresses.
