Saturday, November 12, 2005 Meet
Information: Held at Queensbury High School,
Queensbury, NY. The top team and top 5 individuals from each class
in the 11 different sections in the state will travel to Queensbury to
compete in the state championship meet. The order of races
is: 8:45 AM Boys AA; 9:10-Boys A; 9:35-Boys B; 10:00-Boys C;
10:25-Boys D; 10:50-Girls AA; 11:15-Girls A; 11:40-Girls B; 12:05-Girls
C; 12:30-Girls D; Dylan Hardwick from WHS will compete in the Boys
A race at 9:10 AM.
Course Information:
The course is relatively flat with 2 hills. It consists of
grass fields and wooded trails. Spikes are recommended. Awards:
The top 20 finishers in each race receive medals. Travel
Information: The
travel itinerary will be as follows: Leave Watertown Friday
morning. Workout on the Queensbury course on Friday
afternoon; Check into the hotel at the Sleep Inn in Queensbury;
Dinner at Olive Garden or Pizzeria Uno at 6:00 PM; Expected return
time to Watertown is in the evening on Saturday. Directions
to Meet:
From the thruway, I-90 East to Albany, The exit the thruway and follow
I-87 (Adirondack Northway) north. Take exit 19-Aviation Road. AT
the end of the ramp, turn left over the highway.
Queensbury High is on your right, immediately following the bridge.
